The topic had been visited before the 2024 season and had been discussed during our monthly meetings but we new it was the right time to introduce a Female Only Soccer League.

Named the Jillaroos Female Only Competition, it is an 8-week pilot program for he 2024 season. Friday Nights Under Lights beginning April 26th continuing through to June 14th in 3 different locations, Margaret River, Busselton and Dunsborough.

After gauging numbers through a number of Come and Try Days LNJSA had enough momentum to create a sub-committee headed by Tash Blefari who has been instrumental in the tournament’s debut year. “It was just time,” says Tash. “The girls enjoy playing with the boys on a Saturday throughout the winter comp and they still can, The Jillaroos was about offering something just for them.”

The Format -Five a side (1GK+4 field player) is a fun tournament without recording results, 3 short matches, pitch size 30 – 40m, Small goal posts (3m x 1.8m).
Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where girls can learn, play, and develop under guidance from experienced coaches, fostering a love of soccer from a young age.
There are so far around 12 teams, ranging in age from 7 through to 16. If anyone would like more information, please contact
